Hey, I’m Ajay Howarth.

I’m an Australian author writing romance, fantasy, romantasy, psychological suspense and erotic fiction.

I have no interest in picking one genre and staying there. I’ll write whatever the hell I want, as long as I want to write it.

Most of the time, it still comes back to love, sex, obsession and people making a complete arse of themselves. And sometimes I write mythical creatures and wonderful worlds full of magic and sentient castles.

I like writing people who feel a little too real.

The ones who get under your skin and stay there. The ones who make you stop and think, wait, is she writing about me?

I don’t write perfect people.

I don’t know any.

I write real relationships. Not the rainbow-and-unicorn kind. The complicated kind.

I write for my mental health and as a massive fuck you to anyone who ever doubted me. Tell me I can’t write something and there’s a very good chance I’ll write it out of spite.

Don’t like em dashes? Too bad. I use them because everyone bitches and moans about them, and sometimes the sentence bloody needs one.
